"A songline, also called dreaming track, is one of the paths across the land within the animist belief system of the First Nations People of Australia, which mark the route followed by localised "creator-beings" in the Dreaming." -- Wikipedia
Songlines is heavily inspired by Australian Aboriginal Art. it pays tribute to the richness of aboriginal culture. The spirals getting drew over time represents the aboriginal culture thrived over the time. Eventually, it left tracks of time and turned to a vivid pattern.
It is a piece of generative art and created by code. It generates a colourful pattern randomly each time. The code was programmed with the help of my father using two math algorithms, noise function and circle packing function. The noise function picks random locations to start drawing spirals and circle packing detects gaps of these spirals and generates patterns.
